Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens Presents Everything But the Kitchen Sink Workshop

Isaiah Zagar, creator of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, has a very unique, liberating method for creating mosaics. In this two-hour workshop, the PMG education team will explore techniques used in the Zagar Method, where participants will examine the artist’s murals, prepare and create materials, and make their mosaic.
Participants will learn how to cut glass, break tile, mix grout, and lay out a small 9” x 9” mosaic to take home. This workshop will empower guests with mosaic-making skills and inspiration for future endeavors. The workshop is open to participants ages 12+, but guests under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. PMG members are eligible for discounts.
