Carmichaels Covered Bridge Festival

The Carmichaels Covered Bridge Festival, held at the historic Greene Academy of Art, is part of the annual EQT Washington & Greene Counties’ Covered Bridge Festival and marks the unofficial start of fall. This two-day celebration features handmade arts and crafts, home-style food, historical exhibits, and live entertainment. Visitors can enjoy unique demonstrations like loom weaving, along with horse-drawn wagon rides and face painting. The event offers a festive atmosphere set against the scenic charm of the covered bridge.
